Terms of Service
Effective 11 August 2026. These terms apply to the Silex game network, silexpvp.com and official Silex community services.
1. Who we are and what you accept
Silex Network is operated by ForgeVector Software Limited, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17271764, with registered office at 66 Paul Street, London, England, EC2A 4NA ("ForgeVector", "Silex", "we", "us").
By connecting to Silex, using our website or official community features, or asking us to provide a service, you agree to these terms, our Privacy Policy, and the rules and product information shown to you. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Store purchases are also governed by the Tebex checkout terms accepted at checkout.
Silex is an independent community server. It is not an official Minecraft product or service and is not approved by or associated with Mojang or Microsoft.
2. Eligibility and parents
You must comply with the age and account rules of Minecraft, Discord, Tebex and any other service you use with Silex. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian should review these terms with you. You must have the account holder's and payment method holder's permission before making a purchase. Tebex may impose its own minimum purchasing age.
A parent or guardian who permits a child to use Silex is responsible for supervising the child's use and purchases to the extent allowed by law. Nothing in this section removes a child's statutory rights or makes a person responsible for a transaction they did not authorise.
3. Accounts and your responsibilities
- Use accounts you are entitled to use and provide accurate information when a feature or purchase requires it.
- Keep Minecraft, Discord, email and other credentials secure. Never share authentication codes. Tell the relevant provider and Silex promptly if an account is compromised.
- You are responsible for activity performed through your accounts where it resulted from your action or failure to take reasonable security precautions. You are not responsible for activity after promptly reporting an incident that was not your fault.
- Account access, ranks, cosmetics, statistics and other virtual items are personal, revocable licences. They are not money, property or an investment and may not be sold, traded or transferred unless Silex expressly provides a transfer feature.
- You are responsible for your device, internet connection, software compatibility and third-party accounts. Do not install software or give remote access merely because another player asks you to.
4. Rules, fair play and prohibited conduct
You must follow the current network rules and reasonable staff instructions. Prohibited conduct includes cheating or assisting cheating; unauthorised clients, automation or exploits; evading a restriction; account or payment fraud; attacks on players or infrastructure; doxxing, threats or harassment; unlawful, infringing or harmful content; impersonation; disrupting matches or services; abusing support or reports; and attempting to access data or systems without permission.
You may not probe, scrape, reverse engineer or interfere with Silex except where a right cannot lawfully be excluded, or under a written security-testing authorisation. You must not use Silex data, player information or content to train a model or build a competing dataset without written permission.
5. Enforcement, linked accounts and appeals
We may warn, mute, remove content, reverse an unfair result, remove an entitlement obtained through abuse, restrict features, suspend or ban an account, or block related accounts where this is reasonably necessary to enforce rules, protect users, prevent evasion or secure the network. The action may be temporary while a serious incident is investigated.
Evidence may include server records, reports, account links, payment and connection indicators, replays, anti-cheat output and staff observations. An automated flag is not, by itself, a permanent punishment. Material sanctions are reviewable by authorised staff. You can appeal using the published process, explain your position and provide relevant evidence. Frivolous, abusive or repeated duplicate appeals may be closed.
We may associate accounts using reliable technical, account, behavioural or transaction evidence. Sharing a household or network does not automatically prove evasion. Do not lend an account to a banned player or use another person's account to bypass a restriction.
6. Screenshares and investigations
Staff may invite you to a screenshare to resolve a cheating or security investigation. Participation is voluntary: you may refuse or stop. Refusal is not proof of cheating, but staff may decide the case using the remaining evidence and may keep a temporary restriction in place where reasonably needed to protect the network.
Before a screenshare, staff must identify the purpose and expected scope. You should close unrelated private material. Staff will not ask for passwords, payment-card details, private keys or access to unrelated personal accounts. Do not delete, alter or conceal relevant evidence after an investigation begins. Recording or screenshots must be disclosed and handled under the Privacy Policy.
7. Player content and communications
You retain ownership of original content you submit. You grant ForgeVector a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, copy, adapt, display and distribute it only as reasonably needed to operate, moderate, promote and protect Silex. The licence ends when the content is deleted, except for backups, evidence, already-published promotional material and legal records that reasonably need to remain.
You confirm that you have the necessary rights to submit content and that it is lawful. We may moderate or remove content, but we do not endorse everything players say. Report serious safety issues through official support; contact emergency services where someone faces immediate danger.
8. Store, Tebex and delivery
Purchases through store.silexpvp.com are processed by Tebex. Tebex acts as the licensed seller and merchant of record for checkout: it takes payment, handles applicable transaction taxes and provides its checkout terms and privacy information. ForgeVector supplies the underlying Silex entitlement to Tebex and fulfils it in-game.
- Check the Minecraft username, product, duration, currency, recurring status and final price before authorising payment.
- A purchase grants the account a limited, personal, non-transferable digital entitlement described on the product page. It does not grant ownership of Silex, software or server data.
- Delivery is normally automatic. Maintenance, an incorrect username, an unavailable provider or a security review may delay it. Contact support with the Tebex transaction identifier; do not send full card details.
- Benefits remain subject to clearly disclosed balance, compatibility and rule changes. We will not knowingly replace a paid entitlement with something materially different without a reasonable remedy where consumer law requires one.
- A punishment imposed for conduct after proper delivery does not normally create a refund right. A purchase does not protect an account from the rules.
9. Cancellations, refunds and subscriptions
Your statutory consumer rights always apply. Digital content or a digital service must match its description, be of satisfactory quality where that test applies and be fit for a disclosed purpose. If it is faulty, not delivered or misdescribed, contact Tebex checkout support and Silex support so the seller can provide the remedy required by law.
Where checkout asks you to request immediate digital delivery and acknowledge the effect on a cancellation right, delivery may begin immediately and the statutory cooling-off right may be reduced or lost as the law permits. That does not remove rights for faulty, missing or misdescribed content. Outside statutory rights, refunds are not promised after a digital entitlement has been delivered or consumed.
Recurring products are clearly identified at checkout. You can cancel a Tebex subscription through the cancellation link in Tebex emails or its payment-history service. Cancellation stops future renewals; access already paid for ordinarily continues to the end of the current period unless the product information or law says otherwise.
10. Payment disputes and chargebacks
If you do not recognise a payment, contact the payment-method provider and Tebex immediately. For delivery, description or account problems, contact Tebex and Silex support first so the issue can be investigated without delay. Nothing here prevents a lawful chargeback, Section 75 claim, refund request or other consumer remedy.
Where a payment is reversed, cancelled or reasonably identified as unauthorised or fraudulent, we may suspend or remove the entitlements funded by it and temporarily restrict associated accounts while Tebex investigates. Deliberately making a false dispute, reusing a reversed entitlement, or repeatedly abusing payment systems may lead to a payment-risk restriction or network sanction. We will consider the outcome and evidence rather than treating every dispute as automatic proof of fraud, and an affected player can appeal.
11. Availability, changes and maintenance
Silex is an evolving online service. We may patch, balance, migrate, add or retire features, reset seasonal progress, perform maintenance, limit capacity, or suspend a service for safety, security or legal reasons. We do not promise uninterrupted access or that every feature will remain forever.
We will use reasonable care and skill when providing paid digital services and will not use this clause to avoid a remedy required by law. If a material paid service is permanently withdrawn, any remedy depends on the product, period already received, Tebex's seller obligations and applicable consumer law.
12. Intellectual property and brand
ForgeVector or its licensors own Silex software, original artwork, branding, site design, documentation and other service content. These terms grant only the limited right to use the service for personal gameplay. You may share ordinary gameplay screenshots or videos subject to the Minecraft Usage Guidelines, player privacy and any competition rules.
Minecraft, Microsoft, Mojang and their marks belong to their respective owners. Your use of Minecraft remains subject to their terms and Usage Guidelines.
13. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or your mandatory consumer rights.
If you are a consumer, ForgeVector is responsible for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms or failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, was caused by your breach or an independent event outside our reasonable control, or is a business loss arising from consumer use. We are not responsible for third-party services such as Minecraft, Discord, Tebex, internet providers or community software, but this does not excuse our own legal duties.
If you use Silex for business purposes, to the fullest extent permitted by law our total liability arising from the service in any 12-month period is limited to the greater of £100 and the amount you paid in that period, and we exclude indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, revenue, goodwill, business or data. The exclusions in the first paragraph still apply.
You are responsible for reasonable losses, investigation costs and third-party claims directly caused by your deliberate unlawful act, fraud, attack on the service or material breach of another person's rights. This does not create liability beyond what the law allows.
14. Suspension, termination and survival
You may stop using Silex at any time and cancel recurring purchases through Tebex. We may suspend or end access under section 5, where the service closes, or where continued access would create a legal, security or safety risk. Where reasonable, we will explain a material enforcement decision and provide an appeal route.
Terms concerning intellectual property, transaction records, payment disputes, investigations, liability and dispute resolution continue where needed after access ends. Termination does not remove rights or liabilities that already arose.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms for legal, security, operational or service changes. The current effective date appears at the top. We will give reasonable prominent notice before a change that materially disadvantages existing users where required. Changes do not retrospectively remove accrued rights. If you do not accept a prospective change, stop using the affected service before it takes effect and cancel any recurring product.
16. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you keep any mandatory protection given by the law of the country where you live and may bring proceedings in any court the law permits, including the courts of your home part of the United Kingdom. Business users submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Before filing a claim, contact [email protected] with enough information for us to investigate. This request does not shorten a legal limitation period or prevent urgent relief, a regulator complaint or a statutory consumer remedy.
17. General
If a court finds part of these terms unlawful or unenforceable, the rest continues. A delay in enforcing a term is not a waiver. You may not transfer your Silex account or these terms without our consent; we may transfer the service and these terms as part of a genuine reorganisation or sale, provided this does not reduce consumer protections. No person other than you and ForgeVector has a right to enforce these terms, except where a mandatory law says otherwise.
18. Contact
For service, enforcement or legal questions, contact [email protected] or use the official Silex support channel. Purchase and payment requests may also need to be submitted to Tebex checkout support.
